I don't know if you've noticed but I have this obsessive relationship with shoes. So, I had a friend suggest that every week I should write about a pair that I want or I got...so here they are.

Missoni collaborated again with Converse and made these awesome sneakers. They are black and white (perfect) and they have the signature zig-zag Missoni pattern. Want these babies? Get ready to spend some $200 bucks for them.

No sé si te has dado cuenta pero me encantan los zapatos. Mi amiga sugerio que cada semana tengo que escribir sobre un par que quiere o que compre ... así que aquí están.

I and many other fashion bloggers cannot get enough of Miroslava Duma. She was an editor for Harper's Bazaar Russia and currently a freelance writer. Her style is impeccable. Everything she puts together looks perfect. Everything looks so proportionate, which is difficult for shorties (like me) and innovative. That's not all....to make every woman alive jealous (a good jealous), she looks amazing pregnant! I haven't seen anyone look this stylish pregnant since, wait....EVER.

Yo y muchas otras bloggers de moda, estamos obesinadas con Miroslava Duma. Ella era una editor de Harper's Bazaar Rusia y ahora es una escritora independiente. Su estilo es impecable. Todo lo que ella se pone es perfecto. Todo se ve tan proporcionado, que es difícil para las enanas (como yo). Eso no es todo .... ella se ve increíble embarazada! No he visto a nadie embarazada con tanto estilo.
                    

I have to be honest, I am really looking forward to fall this year. Realistically, Miami never gets cold but being a true Miamian any sign of a cold breeze, I'm packing on some extra clothes. I know everyone must think we're crazy but give us a break, we never get to wear nice coats, blazer, boots and scarfs.
So these are the top trends that I'm looking forward to.

Hello everyone! This weekend was pretty uneventful, just working and relaxing. I was trying to take some good pictures but by the time we got to it, it started to rain...freaking Miami weather. So, these were the best I could get.

I've been feeling pretty uninspired, besides the two awesome deals I got on ebay yesterday everything is pretty calm. You will be seeing them soon.

I really want to know what everyone thinks of the blog and the posts. Maybe some suggestions? Thanks for reading.

Hola a todos! Este fin de semana fue bastante tranquilo, sólo trabajar y relajar. Estaba tratando de sacar algunas fotos buenas, pero el momento que empezamos, empezo a llover ... haci es el clima de Miami. Por lo tanto, esto es lo mejor que pude tomar.

Me he estado sintiendo muy poco inspirada, además de las dos compras increíbles de Ebay todo esta tranquilo.
Realmente quiero saber lo que todos piensan de el blog. Tal vez algunas sugerencias?

Yesterday as I went through the Nordstrom catalog I got to page 6, and I let out a loud scream that sounded like I had seen something horrific...hmmm like David Beckham wearing an Ed Hardy shirt...and hat! Yeah, the scream was that bad but what I had just seen were the most amazing shoes, ever. They are perfect in every way, super high, with lace and a little edge that makes them perfect to wear with everything. The only thing I found wrong with them was.....the price. Sigh.


Ayer cuando miraba el catálogo de Nordstrom llegué a la página 6, y solte un fuerte grito que sonó como si hubiera visto algo horrible ... hmmm, como David Beckham vestido de Ed Hardy! Si, el grito fue tan malo, pero lo que yo acababa de ver eran los zapatos mas sorprendentes. Son perfectos en todo sentido, super altos, con encaje y no muy femeninos que los hacen perfectos para llevar con todo. Lo unico que les encontre feo fue....el precio.  

Yesterday I went out to dinner with a friend from school, xoxo Adrian. It's so nice to talk to someone that has the same interest and excitement about fashion as I do. (My husband just listens to me blabber on and on, poor guy). We went to Sra. Martinez in Midtown and it was YUMMY. I wanted to wear something simple but pulled together. For future reference, I LOVE BLACK AND WHITE. It's just so classy. Anyways, I wore this outfit which was comfortable and easy, no major accessories just a small watch and a ring.

Ayer fui a cenar con un amigo de la escuela. Es muy agradable hablar con alguien que tiene el mismo interés y entusiasmo por la moda como yo. (Mi esposo me escucha hablar y hablar, el pobre). Fuimos a la Sra. Martínez en Midtown y estaba delicioso. Quería ponerme algo sencillo. Para futura referencia, AMO EL BLANCO Y NEGRO. Es tan clasico. De todas formas, me puse este traje que era cómodo y fácil, sin muchos accesorios, sólo un pequeño reloj y un anillo.Espero que les guste!

I've been getting some requests for some men fashion posts...so here it is. Men style is, I think a little bit tricky. I like a man who looks like he tried to put something nice together but at the same time that he didn't try too hard. The whole style thing for me is a thin line, for example, I like it when guys wear jeans that are loose, but not too loose that their butt is hanging out and at the same time not too tight they are giving my skinny jeans competition. It has to fit perfectly to look good. The styling has to be a "big picture" it has to be a head to toe thing. Groomed (not to groomed, NO overplucked eyebrows), if you like facial hair, which I do, it needs to be neat and not too scruffy. Clothes, especially shirts need to be fitted, not to be confused with so tight I can see your man boobs. Pants again, need to be not too big not too tight. Shoes need to be consistent with your pants, please do not wear some bulky sneakers with tight jeans, that just looks really akward. Oh yes, please make sure you don't have some beat up shoes on, shoe laces dirty or scratched everywhere. NOT A GOOD LOOK. I personally do not like hot messes.

Also, men can accesorize. I love to see a man with a nice watch, a classic wallet, a flashy hat, trendy sunglasses or a simple printed scarf to put the last touch on their outfit. Oh I almost forgot, always smell good but please don't spray like 10 times, a little goes a long way.

He estado recibiendo algunas solicitudes de la moda masculina ... así que aquí está. El estilo de hombres es un poco complicado. Me gusta un hombre que parece que trató de poner algo agradable junto, pero al mismo tiempo que no se esfuercen demasiado. Por ejemplo, me gusta cuando los chicos se ponen jeans que están sueltos, pero no muy sueltas y a la misma vez no pueden ser muy apretados. Tiene que encajar perfectamente para lucir bien. El estilo tiene que ser un "panorama general" tiene que ser de cabeza a pies. Vamos a empezar, el pelo y la cara deben se ser arreglados (no muy arreglados, NO se arranquen mucho las cejas), si te gusta el pelo facial, tiene que estar ordenado y no demasiado desaliñado. La ropa, especialmente las camisas deben ser una talla apropiada, no tan apretadas que se ven las pezones, jajaja. Pantalones de nuevo, no necesitan ser demasiado grande ni demasiado apretados. Los zapatos tienen que ser compatibles con los pantalones, por favor, no usen tenis grandes con jeans ajustados. No se pongan zapatos todos golpeados, con cordones sucias y todos rayados. NO ES UN BUEN LOOK.



Los hombres tambien pueden personalizar sus trajes. Me encanta ver a un hombre con un buen reloj, una villetera clásica, un sombrero, gafas, o una bufanda simple. Ah se me olvidaba, siempre tienen que hueler bien, pero por favor, no se pongan como 10 sprays.

I have two sayings that I definately practice while I'm thinking about what to wear...1. I DO NOT dress for guys, I dress for other women, they are the only ones that really care what you're wearing anyways. Guys just don't really care. 2. Always dress from the bottom up. When I'm thinking about what to wear I always start with the shoes since I always think they are the most important part of your outfit.

This specific outfit was definately about the shoes...I had gotten these shoes a couple of weeks ago already and I still hadn't worn them. So combining them with simple pieces made sense. I LOVE white basic blouses, I own like 6!

Tengo dos refranes que definitivamente practico mientras estoy pensando en qué ponerme ... 1. Me visto NO para los chicos, me visto para otras mujeres, ellas son los únicos que realmente les importa lo que tienes puesto. Chicos simplemente no les importa. 2. Siempre me visto de abajo hacia arriba. Cuando estoy pensando en qué ponerme siempre empiezo con los zapatos ya que siempre pienso que son la parte más importante.
Este traje específico fue definitivamente de los zapatos ... Yo había conseguido estos zapatos hace un par de semanas y todavía no me los habia puesto. Así que combinarlos con piezas sencillas tenía sentido. Yo AMO blusas blancas tengo como 6!

Lately, I haven't seen any collections that I have been in awe about....until I saw the Christian Dior Fall 2010 Haute Couture pictures. Every outfit was better than the next. The colors, the makeup, and the best was the colored saran wrap-like covers. The styling was perfection, the pale skin with the dark lipstick and nails...yum. This collection makes me really appreciate the beauty of designing. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Últimamente, no he visto colecciones que he estado en total admiracion.... hasta que vi fotos de el otoño de Christian Dior Couture 2010 Haute Couture. Cada traje fue mejor que el anterior. Los colores, el maquillaje, y lo mejor fue las capotas de colores. El estilo era perfección, la piel pálida con el labial  y las uñas oscuras. Esta colección me hace apreciar la belleza de el diseño. Espero que les guste tanto como yo.

I look forward to weekends because I get to go work at a really nice, little boutique. It's basically, the place I get to go in and just look at clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. It is a high end consignment store, meaning that people bring in their items to be sold and when the store sells them, the store and the person that brought them gets paid. Sooooo, every week, people bring tons of stuff, which I get to drool over.  With that being said, I decided to make my top ten list of the items I would buy if I won the lotto. Here they are:
