Last weekend I went on a little adventure. I took the
Miami Culinary Tour in the Wynwood area. Yes, I know I'm a local here, but sometimes we miss good eating spots and most of all the history of the some of the art we constantly pass by. So I highly recommend this tour for tourists but mostly locals since we get to go back to all the restaurants.
Here is my recap, we started at noon and hit 5 restaurants, along the way we stopped for the street art and also went into a couple of galleries. Mirka was our tour guide and she was awesome. She gave us great insight on the artists and the food. She was very knowledgeable and I loved her excitement for our city.
These tours are the best gift for that person that has everything or you have no clue what to get. Make your gift an interesting and delicious experience or go with a group of friends. I will definitely be trying the South Beach Food Tour next! Here is the
Miami Culinary Tour site for more details and here is the
Wynwood Tour I took.
