Oxygen Facial with Miami Plastic Surgery

Last week I had the chance to get pampered by Nancy Gonzalez, Esthetician at the Miami Plastic Surgery Med Spa (@mpsmedspa). I know you read Miami Plastic Surgery and you automatically think plastic surgery but they also specialize in other non-surgical procedures. I went in for an oxygen facial. I think it is very important to take care of your skin especially living in South Florida. You can buy the most expensive makeup but if you do not take care of your skin, the end result will not be your best.

Here is my breakdown of my experience:

What I got done: After looking at my skin, Nancy, suggested dermaplaning and an Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial.
Dermaplaning is a procedure that takes a small scalpel and basically scrapes off the first layer of skin along with any small hairs you have on your face. (The hair will not grow back thick and coarse.) To reveal a brighter, smoother complexion. You will see throughout the pictures I got the dermaplaning done first and then the Oxygen Facial. The Oxygen Facial consist of small serums that help hydrate your skin. The serums are applied through a small applicator that glides on an oxygen bubble over the skin. These steps revive, replenish and protect your skin.

What was my experience: After I was finished with my facial, I texted all my friends a picture of my face with the caption "you have to get this!!!". First of all, dermaplaning is essential in my life now. I had seen makeup bloggers talk about shaving their faces or getting dermaplaning done and now I understand why this is such a big thing among beauty lovers. You have baby skin! The day after I had an event and my makeup looked flawless. As to the Oxygen Facial, my skin felt hydrated, my pores were smaller and the place I saw the biggest difference was around my mouth, I have deep laugh lines and they were not as visible after the procedure. A week later, my skin still feels smooth, hydrated and refreshed. Do I recommend this facial, yes! I will also be getting it once a month.

What are the prices: Dermaplaning and Oxygen Facial - $232.00.
